1. The immediate personal tour with Bill, followed by wonderful hospitality 2. The pool room where my kids and I could enjoy some games together 3. The guests and staff all treated us like family. The good kind not the kind you block and will only speak to on a holiday. 4. The room was spacious and clean. 5 last but not least, there was a lovely complimentary breakfast that we got to enjoy that was light but easy and enjoyable. Many thanks to the staff and visitors that made our stay so amazing!

Location was awesome! Some other reviews talk about no elevator, the place being dark and dingy. You go there to experience the HISTORY of this place, not all the frills and amenities of a Holiday Inn! If you aren't into staying at a 1800's spooky old hospital then don't stay here! But those of us who appreciate the history of this place and a chance to experience a ghost encounter, this place is awesome!! Staff went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel comfortable. Thanks Brad!!!

Such a charming place to stay Staff was great when checking in and super helpful Offered a continental breakfast Each room in the hotel was different and had its own charm per room Loved that this was a old hospital and hearing the history But mostly loved the charm of this place Beds were very comfortable and its very clean Would recommend this place and if coming back to this area I would definately stay here again

Historical hotel recently renovated. There were a lot of historical aspects and decorations throughout. Staff was extremely helpful and conscientious. Breakfast was satisfying. More of a b&b vibe or maybe a boutique hotel—17 rooms. Sits on top of a hill, so it has awesome views. There is art throughout for sale; definitely part of the community. One if a kind experience. The fluffiest towels ever!

Gentleman at check-in was very nice, friendly and accommodating. Showed me where everything was and took order for continental breakfast. It was Valentine's Day when we stayed and there was a beautiful red rose and small bag of chocolates in the room which was a very special touch. I took the rose home with us and it lasted longer than any rose I've ever had...at least 10 days!!! Thank you!
